My name is Rob “Big Tietts” Tiettmeyer and I am a professional long drive golfer, golf coach, and charity entertainer. I grew up in Aurora, Indiana (about 40 minutes from Cincinnati) and graduated from the PGA’s Professional Golf Management program at Coastal Carolina University. I have worked as a class A pro at many beautiful golf courses and through this, have had the opportunity to play all over the country. Golf has led me into a career with the World Long Drive Association, where I have competed at the highest level since 2012. My LD career includes a win at the 2014 East Coast Classic, 2 second place finishes, and a slew of top 8 finishes. I have qualified for and competed in the World Long Drive Championships every year since 2012, with the exception of 2017, when I qualified but was unable to compete. Throughout my journey, I have focused on learning the different teaching methods of my many mentors in the golf industry. I have become certified to teach the EMP6 method, geared toward fine-tuning the golf swing to optimize distance, while maintaining accuracy. Each golf swing is unique and I look forward to collaborating with you to enhance your golf game and overall experience on the course.

I have been a part of Bobby’s team of Long Drive competitors since 2014 and won my very first event after getting fit and coached by Bobby. The One Stop Power Shop now has over 60 wins, making it a powerhouse on the Long Drive Tour. I’ve recently partnered with Bobby to teach his methods and use the same expertise that Long Drivers use to get longer and apply them to the average amatuer to help them gain yards and enjoy the game much more.
